A Ring Group is a routing option that will send an incoming call to a group of recipients from which a user of the group may answer.
When you receive a call to a Phone Number routed to a Ring Group, all users of that group will ring at the same time. You may select to have users configured to use the Answer Confirmation option by pressing the digit 1 to take the call or just have a user answer the call directly. You can also configure the Ring Time for each individual member of your Ring Group.
You can add various types of users to a Ring Group:
- Device
- Call Forwardings
Also available is the optional setting to select a Voice Mail that will override the default Phone Number Voice Mail should the call not be answered.
