Call Hunting is a method to receive calls in which Call Hunting Records are dialed one after another, for a specific amount of time, until someone answers the call.
Calls may be made using either of these orders:
- Follow Order: The Call Hunting Records will be called in the order provided below: Ring 1, Ring 2, Ring 3, Ring 4, Ring 5, Ring 6, Ring 7, Ring 8.
- Random Order: The Call Hunting Records will be called in a Random Order
You can add various types of Records to a Call Hunting:
- Device
- Call Forwarding
- Ring Group
You can add a recording at the beginning of the call hunting so your caller listens to a message before it begins.
You can also play music while your caller waits for someone to answer.
You can even require that, in order to take the call, the person answering needs to press ‘1’ on the phone so the call is not answered by an answering machine.
